Ian MacGregor's musical director credits include: The Big Life Apollo Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue (Olivier Award Nomination for Best New Musical), Cinderella Theatre Royal Stratford East (Olivier Award Nomination for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre), Little Shop of Horrors Pleasance Theatre, Devilish! Landor Theatre, A Christmas Carol Arts Theatre Leicester Square, Once On This Island Birmingham Rep, Nottingham Playhouse, Hackney Empire, The Wizard of Oz Royal & Derngate, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Millfield Theatre.

He is also the producer and co-composer in collaboration with Matthew James Thomas of the original new musical Malenkaya. A concert performance of the musical is currently being planned for 2019 in London.
